Below is a brief list of activities.  More details are available from the church office, weekly bulletins or Spire publications:

Summer Retreat at Sherman Lake July 22-24 As you plan your summer get-a-ways, be sure to include the church’s weekend at Sherman Lake.  It’s beautiful, affordable, fun, and great people to share it with!  It’s a great way to get to know other church members, connect with God in nature, and relax and have fun… just 20 minutes from Kalamazoo.  Activities include:  campfires, time for reflection and thoughtful conversation, silly games for all ages, supervised activities for kids, free time for nature walks, waterfront, outdoor worship Sunday morning, and more.  Sleeping accommodations are in very modern cabins or YURTS.    Follow this link for a registration form: Retreat Registration Brochure 2011

The ladies of the church had a wonderful time enjoying each other’s company and tasting delightful treats in a beautiful setting (The Church’s Gilmore Lounge)

The 2010 Church Retreat was held at Sherman Lake YMCA July 23 – 25! It was a resounding success, despite some challenging weather.

Please read Dianne Robert’s article about the wonderful experience that was had by all at this year’s retreat!
